After graduating, Joseph returned home to New Orleans and joined the District Attorney's Office, where he prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies for three years. In 2019, he moved into criminal defense and successfully resolved over 200 cases in his first year before joining the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans as a civil defense attorney. He later returned to the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office as a Major Offense Trials Attorney, prosecuting homicides, rapes, armed robberies, and gang-related cases for two years. Joseph ultimately left the District Attorney's Office with over 100 judge and jury trials to his name. He has since returned his focus to criminal defense, where he works tirelessly seeking justice against government overreach and for those wrongfully accused.
