Joseph Zanetti
Joseph Zanetti is a native of New Orleans LA and attended Holy Cross High School graduating in 2002 before attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he played Rugby for his college. After graduating in 2007, Joseph continued to give back as the strength and fitness coach for the University Rugby team for four years before deciding to attend Law School at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, FL.
After graduating, he returned home to New Orleans where he joined the District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure, he prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies for three years. In 2019, he began his first pursuit of criminal defense where he successfully resolved over 200 cases in his first year before joining the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans as a civil defense attorney. He later returned to the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office prosecuting homicides, rapes, armed robberies and gang related cases as a Major Offense Trials Attorney for two years.
Joseph ultimately left the District Attorney’s Office with over 100 judge and jury trials. He decided to return his focus to justice as a criminal defense attorney where he continues to work tirelessly seeking justice against government overreach and those wrongfully accused.
