Destiny Girouard

A native of New Iberia, Louisiana, Destiny Girouard is a dedicated legal professional known for her academic achievements and hands-on experience. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Southern University Law Center in 2023 with a GPA of 3.812 and ranking 2nd in her class, Destiny was also published in the Southern University Law Review, where she addressed workplace rights under Louisiana’s Pregnant Workers Fairness Act.

Destiny has contributed to multiple legal teams as a Law Clerk at Bienvenu, Bonnecaze, Foco & Viator, LLC, gaining experience in legal research, drafting memos, and assisting attorneys. Her externship with Church & Dwight Co., Inc. involved reviewing legal and regulatory materials, preparing U.S. and International marketing contracts, and consulting on brand legal compliance. She has further honed her skills with roles at the Louisiana Senate and East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office, working in public communication, research, and crime mapping.
