Abby BecnelAttorney

Abby Becnel is a native of Houma and a graduate of Terrebonne High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from LSU and her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. While in law school, Abby's trial advocacy skills earned her a spot on her law school's mock trial board. After law school, Abby practiced as a criminal defense attorney in Miami, Florida, for three years before moving back to Houma in 2022. Since returning home, Abby has tried numerous felony jury trials and obtained dismissals and not guilty verdicts for her clients. Abby is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Florida.
